ELLIOT'S SONG

ASSISTING CHILDREN WITH social, economic, or developmental challenges

We are committed to providing tailored music curricula taught by specialized instructors to support the developmental needs of our "at-risk" community members. Your generous contribution to Elliot’s Song ensures that preschool children facing social, economic, or developmental challenges receive 26 weeks of music instruction at no cost throughout the school year. Meeting weekly at six locations, including the comfort of their own classrooms, students from Head Start and Bright Beginnings engage in music-based activities designed to enhance their academic readiness, musical skills, and overall development.

Fueled entirely by grants, donations, and fundraisers, Elliot’s Song relies on your support to make a positive impact. Donations are tax-deductible, and contributing is easy—simply make your check payable to ECMS with "Elliot’s Song" on the memo line or visit our online store to donate by credit card.

Every contribution, regardless of size, is deeply appreciated. Take note of the following sponsorship options:

  • $30 sponsors a child for a semester, or $60 for the entire year.
  • $400 sponsors an entire class for a semester, or $800 for the whole year.

Your support helps us continue our mission of bringing the gift of music to those who need it most. Join us in making a difference through the transformative power of music education.

Thanks to the vision and generous support of Dr. Carol and Mr. Robert Woody, this internship provides invaluable hands-on experience in music education, allowing students to work closely with ECMS staff, actively engage in class planning and activities, and share their passion for music with local public elementary school students during the academic year.

We are no longer accepting applications for the '25-'26 Woody Internship in Early Childhood Music Education. For questions regarding the internship, please contact Dr. Ted Maris-Wolf:  .
