new discussion series

God does extraordinary things through ordinary people. This is the theme of Nadia Bolz-Weber's book Accidental Saints. Our Young Adult Group will use this as a launch for discussion in our new meeting time - 9:30am on Sunday mornings in the WUMC Youth Room. Join Pastor Ryan, Pastor Meghan and Steve Nichols for fellowship, meaningful conversation, and fresh perspectives as we explore faith, grace, and the ways God works through our everyday lives. WESLEY FOUNDATION

The Wesley Foundation at William & Mary is a vibrant campus ministry sponsored by the United Methodist Church. It’s more than just a ministry—it’s a welcoming community. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Location: The Wesley House is situated at 526 Jamestown Road, right across from Lemon Hall and next to Williamsburg United Methodist Church.

  2. Activities and Services:

    • Weekly Dinner: During the semester, they host a weekly dinner at 5:00 pm, followed by a discussion at 6:00 pm.
    • Small Groups: Engage in small groups, fellowship events, and service opportunities.
    • Campus Food Exchange: They run a confidential program open to students, faculty, and staff, providing food resources during specific hours.

  3. Inclusive Community: Wesley embraces God’s radical hospitality toward all. People of all races, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, faiths, and theological backgrounds are welcome.

  4. Sunday Gatherings: Join them every Sunday at 5:00 pm for a delicious dinner and a Large Group discussion at 6:00 pm.

Whether you're looking for meaningful discussions, spiritual growth, or just a place to connect with like-minded individuals, our group offers a space where everyone is welcomed and supported.

Our gatherings are held right after the 11:00am Sunday worship service at the Wesley House, conveniently located just across the street at 526 Jamestown Rd. Each week, we dive into engaging conversations, share in fellowship, and explore how our faith can shape and inspire our lives as young adults. There's no need for formalities – just come as you are and bring your curiosity!
