Michelle, Eric, and their two girls feel blessed to have landed in Williamsburg, VA. After years of travel following her husband Eric’s Coast Guard career, they are grateful to call “The Burg” home. Michelle serves as Communications & Systems Administrator at Williamsburg United Methodist Church (WUMC), where she blends creativity with organization to support the church’s mission through clear communication and strong digital systems.
With more than 20 years of experience in leadership, marketing, and systems optimization, Michelle oversees the church’s email communications, website, and core digital platforms. She manages the church’s Church Management System (Realm), including the member database and online member portal, along with digital forms and texting systems. Her work ensures that information is organized, accessible, and flowing smoothly to support staff, volunteers, and the congregation.
Michelle loves music (though her girls insist she never remembers the right words), creating beautiful and functional spaces, and collecting meaningful memories. She describes Williamsburg as her kind of town — quaint, full of remarkably talented people, and rich with beautiful architecture. The view of the College of William & Mary campus across from the church almost makes her want to go back to school. On weekends, you’ll likely find her at the local farmers market or supporting small businesses downtown.
