Michelle, Eric, and their two girls feel blessed to have landed in Williamsburg, VA. After years of travel following her husband Eric's Coast Guard career, they are excited to have found their forever home here in 'The Burg.' Michelle serves as the Director of Congregation & Community Engagement and also works as a skincare consultant for Rodan & Fields but being a mom to her teen girls is her favorite role. It was her oldest who led the family to WUMC after falling in love with an online sermon by Pastor Dave, and as they say, 'the rest is history!' Michelle loves music (though her girls say she never remembers the right words), collecting memories, creating beautiful spaces, and is passionate about making a difference for others. She describes Williamsburg as her kind of town - quaint, full of amazingly talented people, and boasting an abundance of beautiful architecture. The beauty of the William & Mary campus, which is across from the church, ALMOST makes her want to go back to school. Michelle enjoys supporting vendors at the local farmers' market and downtown shops, noting that Nurtured Notion is an amazing spot if you haven't tried it.
Michelle brings a wealth of experience to the Williamsburg United Methodist Church (WUMC) Communications Team. With a 21-year career in leadership, marketing, and system optimization, she has seamlessly integrated her skills to connect the congregation and community through outreach and digital engagement. In her role, Michelle spearheads all church communication programs, utilizing various mediums like print media, email, social media, and the website. Her purpose and passion is to engage the congregation in understanding how their collective efforts make a meaningful impact on the lives of others both here in Williamsburg and around the world.
