Jesus tells us that God is like a shepherd who notices one sheep is missing and leaves the others behind to go find the one, or a woman who loses a coin and sweeps the whole house to find out. We know and worship a God who doesn't lose count of us but knows each of us by name. We'll get to know The God Who Counts through these two parable stories as we wonder: do we ever forget to keep count of anyone in our lives? Who might be lost that we need to go search for?
