reNEW YOUTH at the VA General Assembly

reNEW Youth are taking a trip to the Virginia General Assembly while school is out on Jan. 19th! We will drive up to Richmond together to meet our State Delegates and Senators and advocate for legislation that aligns with God' dream for justice. No partisan work here, just living out our United Methodist vision of engaging the world with the message of the Gospel!

After our advocacy visits, we'll have lunch and tour the Virginia State Capitol. We'll be advocating for legislation highlighted as a priority by the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy and will use tools from the UM Board for Church and Society. January Youth Group will focus on how to advocate for justice at our State Government while remaining faithful to the message of Jesus, not a political party. Logistics details coming soon!
