Have a story of faith to tell but don’t know where to start? Whether you’re sharing a life-changing experience or reflecting on a defining moment of faith that shaped you, this workshop will guide you in crafting compelling narrative essays that captivate and resonate.
Join us for an interactive session where you’ll learn how to:
- Hook your readers from the very first line.
- Structure your essay with a clear and engaging narrative arc.
- Bring your story to life with vivid details and emotional depth.
- End with impact, leaving your audience inspired or moved.
Through hands-on exercises, expert guidance, and class driven feedback, you’ll transform your personal experiences into meaningful essays that connect with readers on a deeper level. Perfect for beginners and seasoned writers alike, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to let your voice shine.
This workshop spans two sessions, each lasting one hour. In the first session, participants will be equipped with the tools needed to write an essay. Over the following month, they will prepare a rough draft to bring to the second session, where it will undergo peer review, and they will receive guidance on refining their work.
These two workshops will be led by best-selling, award-winning author and writing coach, Ellen Butler. A minimum of 15 people need to register for the class to make.
