Join us for a morning of companionship, enlightenment, and great food at our monthly Churchwide Fellowship Breakfast, hosted by United Methodist Men. To ensure your seat, please RSVP by May 15th. The cost of breakfast is $10 per person. We also encourage attendees to consider donating to the Harbour Scholarship Fund and other ministries supported by UMM.
Our breakfast will host members of the WUMC Creation Care Team (https://vaumc.org/creationjustice/green-church-initiative/) who will speak about this growing ministry of our church and the older Green Team ministry that it is replacing. The Church’s Green Team has been part of the VAUMC Green Church Initiative for many years and is now re-formed as the Creation Care Team. This team is focused on equipping the congregation with tools and education to be responsible stewards of God's creation. Join us as team members Patty Benesh, Donna Ward, and Jim Griffin present the Green Church Initiative of the VAUMC, which empowers local churches to live out their faith by focusing on creation justice and stewardship.
