As we serve, we create deeper connections with God and each other. We discover our spiritual gifts, and we partner with God in blessing others.

Spiritual gifts are specific ways the work of the Holy Spirit is
manifested in our lives. These gifts — on top of our interests, abilities,
hobbies, likes, and dislikes — join together to form who we are and how we
participate in the work God is doing all around us. Some of us are good at hospitality. Others at serving. Still others at teaching or sharing their faith. Some of us like to be center stage, while others prefer to work in the background. That's all part of God's plan. At Williamsburg UMC we work to create opportunities for every member, regardless of age, to use their gifts. That way we share God's love not just at church, but at work, at school, everywhere.
Not sure what your gifts are? Take this assessment to find out what gifts you have been blessed with. If you would like to provide suggestions for new volunteer opportunities, click here
