Pray with Us

All classes pray as part of our daily routine to encourage children to begin a relationship with the Lord.

To begin our day, we pray: "Thank you, God, for giving us this day. Help us to be like Jesus in all we think, do, and say. Amen."

Before we eat, we pray: "Thank you for the world so sweet. Thank you for the food we eat. Thank you for the birds that sing. Thank you, God, for everything. Amen."

FAQ

WHEN ARE CLASSES?

Classes are held Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We are open September - May, and follow the WJCC Public School calendar during the school year.

Summer Sessions are held during specific weeks from June to August. Check our Schedule section above for information about our Summer Sessions.

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS NEVER BEEN IN A GROUP CARE SETTING BEFORE?

No problem. Our teachers work very hard to make each child comfortable in our space. We help both children and parents through that transition to make this a fun and enjoyable time for both.

DO I HAVE TO COME EVERY DAY?

No. Parents choose a schedule that works for them. You can register for as many days as you would like.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD LEARN?

Our curriculum is based around the Bible. Each week will have a theme that reflects a specific Biblical story. Our goal is to teach three main ideas: God made me, God loves me, and God has a plan for me. We believe that children learn best through play. We offer opportunities for them to explore in a safe environment, learn social skills, and begin to control their executive functions. This gives them the building blocks for all learning as they grow.

WHAT IS THE TEACHER TO CHILD RATIO?

At Kid's Morning Out, we maintain a 1:4 ratio in our Sprouts and Seedlings classrooms. We have 2 teachers per classroom, and no more than 8 students at a time. In our Saplings class, we maintain a 1:5 ratio. We have 2 teachers and no more than 10 students. We always have at least 2 teachers present, no matter how many children are present.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?

We do offer partial scholarships. Our hope is that any family that needs this service can participate in our program.

parents of little ones

They say it takes a village to raise a child . . . and we believe that! Parents of Little Ones (POLOs) is a group that meets monthly to connect parents and caregivers in the community. Our goal is to create a support system that allows parents to chat, share ideas, offer suggestions, and build a proverbial "village."

While POLOs is sponsored by the Kid's Morning Out team, it is open to the community. We hope to connect with parents from all walks of life and bring them together.

We also offer the opportunity to discuss developmental milestones in your children's lives, concerns you might have, and provide parent education resources. Have a topic you'd like to discuss at an upcoming event? Let us know!
